Leros is an island of south Aegean sea, and is one of the Dodecanese islands. It is between the island of Patmos, Lipsoi and Kalimnos (1 nautical mile) and is 179 nautical miles from Piraeus and 7 nautical miles from the Turkish coast.

It is 54.6 sq.km. and has a coastline of 83.75 km, which shows the rich variety of its coasts, which form deep gulfs. Because of this, Leros is one of the last small paradises for the visitor who seeks calm and the traditional way of life.
